In this fast-paced world, it is so easy to have momentum going forward that we hardly stop and wonder if it is indeed the path we intentionally chose.

During this period of "break" from intense working, I had the chance to reflect on things a bit, to see if my habits are aligned to help me grow in the future.

The answer to that was: "Not really".

Upon further reflection, I realised a big part of that was not a lack of effort; but rather a lack of direction.

Through Gary Vee's videos, I have learnt patience is equally important as effort. Giving ourselves time to grow and learn is essential to being the person we are meant to be, even if we do not know what it is exactly yet. 

Patience does not mean putting less effort. It just means putting effort in building skills so that when the opportunity comes, we can grab it skilfully.

Today, right now, why not just hit pause and reflect, even if it is just for a few minutes?
